Release of New Envizio

Sioux Falls, SD-Raven Industries announces theFebruary 1st, 2006 release of the Envizio - Raven's new Precision Guidance System. Combining lightbar LED's with a 3D color touch screen, the Envizio offers a new compact hardware design, loaded with powerful software capabilities.

The Envizio can be used as a stand-alone guidance system, or as the interface to existing Raven lightbars and SmarTrax. According to Matthew Willard, Business Development Manager for FCD, "The Envizio is the platform for guidance and other future applications in precision agriculture. The Envizio takes guidance a step further with its state-of-the-art user interface - not only do you have a lightbar to guide you, but a 3D Color Touchscreen with a variety of views and options. In the future, Envizio's applications will be expanded beyond guidance, making it the most versatile, user-friendly system on the market."

Envizio's Guidance features include the new LastPass Guidance pattern. This Guidance pattern allows the user to always drive based on last pass. LastPass guidance allows operators to come back to a job and guide off the same line as the previous job. LastPass makes it simple to show where you have been and reduces the spot skips and overlaps.

The Envizio offers a variety of views such as:

• Down-Field View
• Birds-Eye View
• GPS Status Screen (w/ Auto-Detect Feature)
• Field Boundaries to Total Acres
• Field Map Review (w/ zoom & vehicle lock)

In addition, Envizio eliminates the common A-B button presses in guidance, and allows you to save your AB line, making the job startup easier than ever before.

The Envizio also features state-of-the-art hardware design, with a RAM-mount system, boom sense wire, or tap screen for coverage, and multiple area counts with one job. The Envizio's 3D Color Touch Screen, and LED lightbar allow for easy guidance status. Offering two USB ports, the Envizio allows operators the option to copy jobs and update software without special hardware and cables.
